I've been drawing since before I could explain why. When I was little, I asked my mom how much artists make. She was worried. I was not.

That instinct never went away.

From elementary school art shows to college Addys, my work kept getting noticed. In high school, I fell in love with IB film. My class projects kept winning the class votes. Then VCU, where my professor submitted me as a graphic design student to watch in GDUSA magazine. She still uses my portfolio as a reference point for students today.

Then advertising. Eventually, it all made sense together.

For the past 7 years I've been at Fable, a Richmond-based creative agency, where I've built brand identities, concepted TV campaigns, and learned what it actually means to treat a client's business like it's your own.

That last part is not a cliché for me. I got roasted at a holiday party for having an affair with Adobe Illustrator. I consider that a compliment.

What keeps me up at night isn't whether the work looks good. It's whether the client feels like they got the best of the best, not just a completed task. There's a difference, and I feel it every time.

Art Director now on a short timeline to ACD. Looking to work with clients who want to push, not just approve.

I also drink lemon juice by the glass. Make of that what you will. If you want the full story, let's talk.
